Emily K. Moy
Bio
Emily Moy is an Associate Attorney practicing in the areas of Domestic Relations, Probate, and Estate Planning. She is originally from Maryland, where she attended undergraduate at St Mary’s College of Maryland, and then went to law school at West Virginia University, graduating in 2012 and becoming a member of the West Virginia bar.
After spending 5 months in Brazil, including spending 6 weeks volunteering in the Amazon, Emily joined the U.S. Army JAG Corps in 2013. She spent eight and a half years serving our country, traveling the world, and being stationed at places like Fort Lee, Virginia; Vicenza, Italy; and Fort Bliss, Texas. She practiced a wide range of areas of law but spent most of her time in the Army practicing criminal law, both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. Her significant courtroom experience includes prosecuting and defending cases that involved sexual assault and murder.
After completing her service in the Army, Emily and her husband, Jeff, and their two kids, Rex and Amy, and their two dogs, Monster and Nikita, recently settled in Colorado Springs. In her free time, which she doesn’t have much of because of her little ones, Emily loves to read, hike, go to the zoo, or catch up on sleep.
